Why flow rate on its own misleads
Every machine here advertises millilitres per minute, and no two of those numbers describe the same thing. One separates hydrogen and delivers it at 99.99% purity. One blends it down to roughly 4% on purpose. One produces an unseparated hydrogen-oxygen mixture and counts both gases in its headline figure. One does not say.
Ranked on the numbers alone the order would run AquaCure, Echo Refresh, Vital Reaction, VEVOR. Read alongside composition it falls apart. The AquaCure’s 833 mL/min is about two-thirds hydrogen, so hydrogen delivery is nearer 550 mL/min and arrives mixed with oxygen. That is a different product, not a bigger one. Every table here prints composition next to flow, and says so plainly where a brand publishes no purity figure at all.

120 mL/min of hydrogen at a stated 99.99% purity, with 60 mL/min of oxygen delivered separately through a second port. It is the only machine on this page that publishes a purity figure at all, which is why it leads a list where one rival costs twenty-five times as much.
Purity is the specification that matters in an inhaler. Flow rate tells you how much gas arrives; purity tells you what is in it. A machine that publishes the first and not the second is answering the easier question.
The output is genuinely small. At 120 mL/min you are looking at long sessions to reach what a clinical unit delivers in minutes, and the timer caps at ninety. It also needs distilled or purified water at TDS of 5 or below. Tap water will damage it.

Echo does not publish a purity figure. On a $7,499 machine whose entire function is producing gas for you to breathe, that omission is the first thing we would want answered, and it is the reason this is not the top pick despite the specification sheet.
The price also needs saying plainly. $7,499 is more than every water machine on this site put together. This is clinical hardware sold to households, and it makes sense if you want the best of the best and the cost is not the deciding factor.

The important detail is that the delivered gas sits at roughly 4% hydrogen. That is a deliberate clinical choice rather than a shortcoming, since it keeps the mixture below hydrogen’s flammability threshold. It does mean the 600 mL/min figure cannot be read against the VEVOR’s 120 mL/min of 99.99% gas. Different products, different numbers.
Vital Reaction publishes no price on the product page and does not say whether the unit uses membrane or plate electrolysis, so two of the things you would compare on are simply absent.

The Hydrofix belongs on this page because it does both jobs. It is a countertop hydrogen water generator that also runs an inhalation mode, which no other water machine on this site offers at any price.
If you want hydrogen water daily and inhalation occasionally, one $1,495 unit covering both is a different proposition from buying a water machine and a dedicated inhaler separately.
Output is measured rather than asserted. Masa International in Kyoto recorded 134.2 mL/min of total hydrogen under test MM03-6024-01, split as 134.18 mL/min gas-phase and 0.04 mL/min dissolved, with the report reviewed by Professor Katsuhiko Nakamuro of Setsunan University. That puts it just above the VEVOR on flow.
Gas purity is not published, so it cannot be read against the VEVOR’s stated 99.99%. The 99.928% figure on Lourdes materials refers to the titanium in the electrodes, not the gas coming out. Warranty is one year.

A different product from everything else on this page. It makes a mixed hydrogen and oxygen gas rather than separating the two, so its headline number counts both and cannot be compared with the machines above.

The AquaCure is on this page because people shopping for hydrogen inhalers find it, and it is worth explaining why it is not one. Eagle Research rates it at up to 50 litres an hour, roughly 833 mL/min, which reads as the largest number here.
That figure is total gas. The output is HydrOxy, also called Brown’s gas, at roughly two parts hydrogen to one part oxygen, and the two are never separated. Hydrogen delivery is nearer 550 mL/min, mixed with the oxygen it came from. Comparing it to a separated pure-H2 machine on flow rate alone is comparing different things.
A lifetime warranty and continuous-operation rating are real advantages if HydrOxy is what you want. Eagle Research does not publish a reliable current price on the product page.
Molecular hydrogen inhaler, hydrogen inhaler, same thing
A molecular hydrogen inhaler, a molecular hydrogen inhalation machine and a hydrogen inhalation machine are the same device. Brands use whichever term they prefer, and none of them implies anything about output or purity. Judge them on the two numbers that matter: how much gas per minute, and what that gas is.
Portability is a real difference rather than a naming one. A portable hydrogen inhalation machine runs on a battery and weighs a couple of kilos, which is the VEVOR at 1.88 kg with a 10,000 mAh cell. The clinical units are mains-only and heavy: the Echo Refresh weighs 13.6 kg. If you want a portable hydrogen inhaler you are choosing from the smaller-output end of this list, and the trade is longer sessions.
Certification in this category
Most hydrogen inhalation machine reviews stop at the flow rate. Independent certification is close to absent across this category. No unit on this page publishes a safety or output certificate we could open and read. That is not a gap in our research - it is the state of the market, and it is worth knowing before spending four figures.
